Anyone using PhotoDeluxe needs to have some understanding about graphics manipulation and image scanning. On the other hand, I would recommend it to anyone who needs to import graphics into their system and then manipulate those graphics with a very large number of special effects.
Jim Emmons gave it an ease of use rating of 3, meaning it is easy to use. It is very easy to install, and easy to configure. The doumentation is adequate. Jim Emmons did not contact Customer Service. Jim Emmons made the following comments about support:

The hard copy documentation was enough to get started, and it did a good job of that. The online help was good, and there were little windoids that popped up that gave a starting point for each major action. These "clues" could have been more explicit and less cryptic, but they were nice to have.

PhotoDeluxe is very easy to use, even for a non-graphics oriented person. The help functions provided by PhotoDeluxe are enough for anyone to discover how to use this product out of the box.

PhotoDeluxe 2.0 is an excellent product, easily upholding Adobe's reputation for excellent products.
